Handcrafted by artisans from the Bhagalpur region in Bihar, India. Tussar silk is valued for its rich texture and natural deep gold colour, it is also known as wild silk. It reflects the exotic and untamed spirit of the wild silkworm producing it, in its feel, colour and sheen. It comes in a range of natural colours like beige, cream, honey and tawny, and has an uneven golden sheen.
100 % Handwoven and handmade, it is crafted in a special double weave , where two separate pieces are woven intricately in fine silk threads, dyed in beautiful colours. They are then combined and finished together as the final piece. These scarves are delicate and soft to the touch with a rich lustrous look and feel.
